Visiting Card Print File Guide
Follow this guide before you send your visiting card design for printing. It helps your card come out clean and correct every time.
1. Cut Size and Safe Area
Your visiting card size is 3.386" x 1.93" (86mm x 49mm). This is the final cut size. Keep all text, logos and important details inside the safe area shown below: 3.229" x 1.773" (82mm x 45mm). Anything outside this safe line can get cut off or sit too close to the edge.

2. Design Do’s and Don’ts
Background colour should run edge to edge, right up to the cut line. If it stops short, you get a white gap after cutting. Keep your name, logo and text away from the border. If they sit too close to the edge, they can get cut off or look uneven.
3. Colour Mode: Always Use CMYK
Design and save your file in CMYK, not RGB. RGB colours look bright on screen but print dull or wrong on paper. For a deep, true black (not a grey looking black), use Cyan 30% + Magenta 30% + Yellow 30% + Black 100%.
